Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds, will have a hard time changing anything.
Its also true that if there is no struggle, there is no progress. The trials and tribulations that are placed before us often times are the oil stones needed to sharpen our character. Gems cannot be polished without friction, and likewise we ourselves wont be able to move out of the cruft and into our better forms without exiting our comfort zones and experiencing that which will ultimately bring us closer to the desired state of being.
